·         The FET Certificate Sport Administration qualification has 172 credits which calculate to 1720 notional hours.

·         Learner ships are the recommended frame within which to explore the new opportunities. The learning takes place in the class, workplace and RPL (Recognition of Previous Learning). Learn while you earn and apply newly acquired knowledge.

LEARNER SHIP FUNDING:

·         Under the Skills Development Act, Seta’s have an obligation to disburse grants. Seta’s have slightly different ways of funding their learner ships.

·          These grants are paid to employers in South Africa who pay SDL. The possibility of funding application allocated from the seta could range from R20 000-R35 000 per qualification depending on the seta.

·         These funds pay for: Class fees, all learning materials, assessments and a Stipend (FROM R950-R1500 PER MODULE COMPLETED) payable to the learner on a quarterly basis.
